Yogyakarta, December 30 – PT Integrasi Logistik Cipta Solusi (ILCS) Reaffirms Commitment to Social and Environmental Responsibility in Education Through "Innovation Challenge of Excellence 2.0" (I-CON 2.0)

PT Integrasi Logistik Cipta Solusi (ILCS) once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting the priority Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program in education of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) or Pelindo through the "Innovation Challenge of Excellence 2.0" (I-CON 2.0) program. This initiative aligns with the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises’ (BUMN) spirit to build a globally competitive and competent younger generation, aiming to create a golden generation by 2045. ILCS continues the success of the program previously implemented in 2022 in Jakarta.

This time, I-CON 2.0 partnered with Ahmad Dahlan University in Yogyakarta, organizing a competition focused on innovation in information technology.

In addition to identifying top talents at Ahmad Dahlan University, I-CON 2.0 aims to enhance students' abilities to generate innovations in information technology, specifically in Indonesia's port and logistics industries. As a subsidiary of Pelindo, ILCS plays a vital role in realizing Indonesia's digital maritime ecosystem, where service transformation must be supported by outstanding talents capable of contributing to Pelindo’s vision of becoming a leader in the integrated and world-class maritime ecosystem.

I-CON 2.0, held in collaboration with Ahmad Dahlan University, Yogyakarta, involved over 200 enthusiastic students participating in the competition. The students' passion for researching port digitization brought extraordinary energy to creating sustainable innovations for Indonesia’s maritime ecosystem. ILCS also took this opportunity to share knowledge, insights, and experiences in information technology, aiming to inspire the younger generation to prepare themselves as quality leaders for the future.

Natal Iman Ginting, CEO of ILCS, stated in his opening speech, "I-CON 2.0 is a tangible form of our commitment to contributing to the nation's intellectual development by nurturing digital talents to advance technological innovation in Indonesia. We believe that the younger generation is a crucial asset for Indonesia's future."

Winners of the I-CON 2.0 competition will also have the opportunity to contribute directly to ILCS through an internship program at the Digital Maritime Development Center (DMDC) in Yogyakarta, inaugurated on December 30, 2024. This initiative is a concrete step by ILCS in implementing the TJSL program using the Creating Shared Value (CSV) approach, generating benefits for society and the environment while positively impacting the company.
