As part of its ongoing commitment to driving digital transformation across Indonesia’s port ecosystem, PT Integrasi Logistik Cipta Solusi (ILCS) is proud to announce the successful implementation of the Terminal Operating System (TOS) Nusantara at Sorong Port. This milestone reflects ILCS's strategic role in supporting Pelindo Group’s vision of creating an integrated, efficient, and technology-driven national port infrastructure.

Sorong, July 10, 2025 – PT Integrasi Logistik Cipta Solusi (ILCS), a subsidiary of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero), continues to demonstrate its commitment to supporting the digital transformation of the national port sector through the implementation of the Terminal Operating System (TOS) Nusantara at Sorong Port, Southwest Papua. This initiative is part of Pelindo Group’s national strategy to build an integrated port operational platform from the west to the east of Indonesia.

Sorong Port marks the 14th location to implement TOS Nusantara since the system was developed by ILCS in 2022. TOS Nusantara enables full digitalization of all container terminal processes, from vessel planning, yard management, to real-time monitoring of loading and unloading activities. The implementation of this system has proven to significantly improve operational efficiency, reduce administrative errors, and accelerate terminal customer service.

“The systemization of the Sorong Container Terminal is part of Pelindo's strategic initiative post-merger to implement port service digitalization with a single container service system. By using the same system from the eastern to the western regions, we aim to improve operational business process efficiency, service standardization, consistent user experience, and ease in the utilization of human resources across operations, system maintenance, and support,” stated Frenda Rangga Aksara, General Manager of Container Terminal Solutions at ILCS.

The go-live process of TOS Nusantara in Sorong was carried out collaboratively with Pelindo Terminal Petikemas Subholding, starting from infrastructure readiness assessment, system migration, to technical training for workers in the port's operational area. SOP standardization and change management were also implemented intensively to ensure a smooth transition and immediate system utilization in supporting field operations.

Welta Selfie, Terminal Head of TPK Sorong, expressed that the system brings real impact to terminal operations, “TOS Nusantara (Palapa, Parama, Praya) is great because it is more accurate and efficient for loading and unloading data. It provides direct access and includes updated features. The billing process has also become more accurate and efficient,” she said.

Similar sentiments were shared by Melina Sihombing, Customer Service of TPK Sorong, “Since using TOS Nusantara, the application has been user-friendly. Our hope is that with the implementation of TOS Nusantara at TPK Sorong, TPK Sorong will continue to be successful,” she stated.

ILCS and Pelindo continue to move forward together in realizing a digital transformation that is transparent, efficient, and data-driven. The implementation of this system serves as a strategic foundation in supporting the integration of national logistics services, accelerating the flow of goods, and enhancing the competitiveness of Indonesia’s maritime sector as a whole.
