As part of its ongoing commitment to accelerating digital transformation in Indonesia’s logistics sector, PT Integrasi Logistik Cipta Solusi (ILCS), a subsidiary of state-owned Pelindo, officially kicks off ICON 3.0 (Innovation Challenge of Excellence). This national competition brings together bright university students from across the country to propose innovative, practical, and sustainable digital solutions that address real challenges in the port and logistics ecosystem.
With the theme “Empowering Logistics Through Innovation: From Youth, For Indonesia”, ICON 3.0 serves as a collaborative platform where education meets industry—creating space for future talent to contribute meaningfully to the growth of Indonesia’s maritime and logistics landscape.
Jakarta, July 17, 2025 – PT Integrasi Logistik Cipta Solusi (ILCS) once again holds the national innovation competition titled ICON 3.0 (Innovation Challenge of Excellence). Carrying the theme “Empowering Logistics Through Innovation: From Youth, For Indonesia”, this competition serves as a strategic platform to shape young digital talent capable of responding to the challenges of the national logistics sector.
This competition is a strategic initiative by the company in response to the need for accelerating digital transformation in the port and national logistics supply chain sector. Through ICON 3.0, ILCS provides a collaborative platform between academia and industry to foster digital solutions from students that are not only innovative but also adaptive and sustainable.
“The active participation of students from across Indonesia is a concrete step in inviting the younger generation to take a strategic role in accelerating the digital transformation of the national logistics sector,” said Dimas Giri Prabowo, Corporate Secretary of PT ILCS.
ICON 3.0 focuses on three main missions: first, to encourage the creation of applicable and relevant solution innovations that align with strategic digital transformation needs; second, to increase active student involvement in addressing real industry challenges in logistics; and third, to promote the integration of solutions combining technological, economic-business, and institutional aspects in a holistic manner.
As part of the Road to ICON 3.0 series, the competition will run from July to September 2025. The top ten teams will be announced in early September and will proceed to the pitching and final presentation stages. The grand event will be marked by an Awarding & Exhibition session in mid-September, as a form of appreciation for the best ideas contributing to the advancement of Indonesia’s digital logistics transformation.
Through ICON 3.0, ILCS reinforces its commitment to creating a productive collaboration space between the younger generation and the industry. This initiative is also expected to drive the emergence of innovations that are relevant, applicable, and impactful for the future of the national logistics ecosystem.
