Rob flood is a phenomenon of the tides of sea water at certain times often occurring in areas not far from the coast. On Friday, December 3, 2021, the Rob flood disaster occurred in the North Jakarta area. Some of these areas include, Jl. Lodan Sunda Kelapa Harbor, Jl. RE Martadinata, Tanjung Priok, Muara Baru, and the Si Pitung Marunda area.

Quoting from CNN Indonesia, the cause of the Rob flood in the area around the Sunda Kelapa Harbor was the breach of one of the embankments on the beach which caused seawater to enter the area where residents lived. Depths ranging from 1-1.5 meters caused a number of residents whose houses were flooded high enough to have to be evacuated.

PT ILCS through the Corporate Social TJSL program provides direct assistance in the form of basic necessities, clean water, cleaning equipment and ready-to-eat food for residents of Jl Lodan Ancol, North Jakarta.
