JAKARTA - Market expansion is one of the company's ways to expand the business and improve services to customers, especially PT Integrasi Logistik Cipta Solusi (ILCS) to support the transformation of Pelindo Merger.
Although the target set by the company has been achieved, it does not mean that ILCS has stopped innovating. The company will set new targets so that the business it runs continues to grow and develop.
One of the ways that ILCS does this is by assigning IT personnel in regional areas to create opportunities for the development of ILCS's market share to become even wider. If previously it was centered in Jakarta with coverage from Jakarta, West Java, Sumatra, and West Kalimantan, now ILCS operations have expanded to all areas of the archipelago from Aceh to Papua.
ILCS has mapped market share and divided operating services into 4 (four) areas, namely the Head Office in Jakarta which covers the market share of Jakarta, West Java, parts of Sumatra, and West Kalimantan. The ILCS market focus on the Head Office area includes Pelindo Holding and Sub Holding entities and supports strategic initiatives for port digitalization services.
There is also the Surabaya Area which covers the port market share in Central Java, East Java, Bali and Nusa Tenggara, and parts of Kalimantan. The next area is the Medan Area which covers the share of ports on Sumatra Island and the Makassar Area which covers the market share of ports in Sulawesi, parts of Kalimantan, Ambon, and Maluku, as well as Papua.
This strategic step was carried out in conjunction with strengthening the capacity of ILCS to expand or penetrate even wider new markets in different locations.
The development of market share in each of these areas will be led by the Area Senior Vice President who heads 3 (three) functions, namely Sales & Customer Solution for customer engagement processes, Delivery Monitoring to assist project implementation, evaluation, and monitoring, and Operations Support & Control for support the operation and maintenance of IT services in the area.
The formation of this area will certainly have a very positive impact on ILCS and the port ecosystem because it will speed up the port digitization process throughout the archipelago and support the optimization of the process flow of goods and the flow of documents in the logistics chain.
